Yesterday we had our author visit! Meg Welch Dendler spoke to our students about the process that goes into writing a book. The kids were very excited to get to listen to her speak and to ask her questions at the end. She was even kind enough to stay for the afternoon and do a writing workshop for our 5th graders. It’s always a great day to be a Bobcat!

Tuesday and Wednesday of this week McAlear-Sawden's students in kindergarten through 5th grade learned Science lessons through farms. The FARM science program from Michigan Farm Bureau did various lessons with hands-on activities that broadened our Bobcats' understanding of farms and the things in our life that come from a farm. Thank you, Michigan Farm Bureau!
